Service Description

This will introduce students to the CCHS 11+ exam and outline its differences to the normal 11+ exam, including the format, timings and answer methods. Those wishing to attend Chelmsford County High School for Girls will be required to sit a separate entrance exam called the CEM.  The CEM is also relevant for schools such as Ilford Grammar, Henrietta Barnett, Woodford and Bexley. This is different to the CSSE 11+ for Westcliff, Southend and Colchester. Whilst many of the core skills tested are the same, there are additional elements to the format of the exam requires even more speed, focus and mental agility. Being well-prepared is therefore a crucial part of exam success, as the exam is designed to faze and challenge even the brightest of candidates. This workshop will reveal how the exam is composed and carried out, familiarise the students with each section, and teach them invaluable techniques to tackle the CEM. The students will also try their hand at format style questions and speed tests. A reminder will be emailed to you nearer the time of the event.
